I think it’s best we focus on the dancing queen today…
May said she was confident Britain can agree a deal for its exit from the EU, although she cautioned that she would rather leave without a deal than accept to carve up the United Kingdom.
GBP was weaker before May delivered her annual speech to the Conservative Party conference, but did slip further as she pledged to stick with her Brexit plans when the UK and the EU enter another round of negotiations on their divorce.
To be frank, in between dancing to the dancing queen and criticising the Labour party, there was little fresh rhetoric today from the PM on her stance on Brexit. After the slight wobble we saw earlier during the speech it has levelled out back to previous levels.
Looking ahead to a bumper Friday!
